AIM Admin Platform
Overview
Content Catalyst's admin platform (AIM Admin) is where the team configures every tenant's subscriber portal. I worked across both frontend and backend: page builders for homepage and showcase configuration, user management systems, and navigation configuration on the frontend, plus wiring and building out the underlying system that powers AIM's own admin controls, the API and DynamoDB data-layer work behind that UI.
Notable pieces included the homepage configuration builder with its card variations and layout sections, an admin users page, and an accounts/leads hub.
Category hub templates
A template builder for category hub pages: admins create named templates (each with its own section layout), assign them to specific categories, and set one default template that applies to every category without an explicit assignment. This is what powers the different layouts tenants can give their Sector, Region, and other category pages without engineering involvement.
Showcase page builder
The admin side of the fully customisable page blocks: a section-by-section builder where admins add, reorder, and configure the blocks that make up a tenant's showcase homepage (Hero, Promoted Content, Licensed Content by Category Cover, and more), each with its own settings and metadata toggles, previewable before publishing as a draft or straight to the live "published version".
Header builder
The admin side of the fully customisable header: a primary navigation section (left-aligned, unlimited links) and a secondary section (right-aligned, capped at 2 links), each link configurable with its own label, URL, and an optional "open in new tab" flag. This feeds directly into the header rendered on the main frontend.
A long-standing IFrame-embedding issue across CCM pages was consolidated into a single reusable component, replacing several fragmented helpers with one app-wide solution.
Analytics & data visualisation
Beyond configuration tooling, I built out a set of analytics pages inside AIM Admin: data grids, charts, and dashboard layouts giving tenants visibility into usage and content performance, designing and implementing the components and page layouts end to end, not just consuming a chart library off the shelf.
